Maritime Energy Fair– Friday, May 3, 9am-3pm
Maritime Energy
hosts it annual Energy Fair on this Friday, May 3, from 9 am–3 pm. Held at the Townline Store in Rockland (167 New County Road), the event includes representatives from Maritime’s partners, including Evergreen. We partnered with Maritime last year to help homeowners and businesses satisfy their energy needs through good fuel service and energy efficiency.

Maritime customers and other homeowners are invited to learn more about Evergreen’s insulation, air sealing, and moisture remediation services at the free Energy Fair, or to schedule a FREE one-hour consult with a certified Energy Advisor.

 

Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fair – Saturday, May 5, 10am-4pm
Common Ground Learning Solutions and SMCC host a Renewable Energy & Efficiency Fair this Saturday, May 4, from 10 am – 4 pm. The event is on SMCC’s South Portland Campus at the Sustainability and Energy Alternatives (SEA) Center.

Solar, wind, geothermal and energy efficiency experts will be on hand to provide information, give demonstrations, and answer homeowners’ questions, with formal presentations scheduled throughout the day. At 12:45, Kathleen Meil of Evergreen Home Performance will explain how certified energy advisors evaluate a home’s energy picture and install interventions that manage heat, air, and moisture to maximize energy efficiency.

The day will also include music and children's activities that educate, expand perspectives, and inspire a lifelong dedication to sustainable practices. The Fair is FREE, but registration is requested. Call 741-5758 for details.
