Efficiency Maine continues to offer generous rebates for home energy upgrades. That includes insulation, air sealing, heat pumps, and more.

These rebates can take thousands off the cost of making your home more efficient and more comfortable – especially heading into another Maine winter.

But program rules can change

Like many incentive programs, Efficiency Maine rebates are funded on an annual cycle. That means:

Rebate amounts can change
Specific upgrades may be added or removed
Funds can run out before the end of the fiscal year

So while the rebates aren’t going away today, waiting too long could mean missing out.

Evergreen came back this year to finish insulating our house. We have been remodeling and renovating an 1850s cape for several years. Their employees are very professional and pleasant to deal with. Evergreen did everything they said they would and more. I actually don't mind going into the basement now since they sealed it. The air quality in the house is noticeably better and it's warmer in the winter. We can even store clothing down there where before, whatever was in there would mildew. Even the spider population declined! I used to vacuum so many of them from the corners of the ceilings in the house. Not any more!
