I have been with Evergreen since 2013. What drew me in was a care for the environment and interest in construction, specifically in the invaluable work of repairing and improving existing buildings. At that time, Evergreen was just beginning to do work in the Portland market and the person who managed the building science program at Southern Maine Community College recommended Evergreen to me as a strong, growing company that I should consider. All these years later, I consider reaching out to Evergreen to be one of the best decisions I have ever made, as I have learned so much about historical building construction, building science, and modern best practices in my time here. Beyond that, what has always stood out to me about Evergreen is the people. From the top on down, smart, fun people are what makes it possible to do the hard and often dirty work. Even when you are hot and sweaty at the end of a long day, if you are having fun and laughing together, life is good.

Evergreen removed and replaced the insulation in my attic. They did a great job!, Crew was excellent, and the whole thing went smoothly, and the attic was NOT easy to get into or work in, so kudos to some hard work done well!
