Evergreen has insulated two homes that we’ve owned now and both times we experienced exceptional service and craftsmanship. Our rep, Justin, went above and beyond answering questions and the installation team was attentive to every detail, including pulling out old poorly installed insulation and redoing a bathroom fan that wasn’t up to current code. They also left the place spotless every day! Our home is already so much warmer this fall and we are looking forward to using less oil this winter.

We had Evergreen redo the insulation in our roof. The team handling our project did a great job. They left the house spotless. We’ve already noticed the difference in how much better our house is retaining heat. I would definitely recommend and will use them for future projects.

Evergreen came out 2 years ago to do an assessment and insulate our roof. This year we had them come back and do the basement as well. They are hands-down the best crew we’ve ever hired to work on our house. They are experts at what they do, and super meticulous in their work. After working in our house for a week with blown insulation, there was no trace they were ever here. We’ve seen a huge decrease in our energy bills while at the same time the house has become way more comfortable. Can’t recommend them enough.

They were highly recommended. I found them to be very knowledgeable and so helpful, with practical ideas. Despite my not living within their service area, they were generous with their knowledge, describing the usual solutions to correct leaks in my basement, and what the result is likely to be by following path A, B or C, and why. I was discouraged. Talking with Evergreen helped me see that my basement problems are far from insurmountable and really, fairly common in 100-year old homes. There are proven solutions. They even recommended a reliable, reputable contractor in my geographic area. Our consultation changed my outlook on the project from discouraged to hopeful. If my home was within their service area, I would not hesitate to call on them to fix the problems.

We had Evergreen energy do blow-in cellulose. I was very happy with the result. They tested with blower-door before and after. House is now MUCH warmer. Also, in the time since when I’ve had to open walls for various access, I’ve been impressed with how they got the insulation packed in everywhere. I’d use them again.

Update 12/2018: Evergreen has completed Phase II of my house (insulating and installing air/moisture barrier on exterior walls, replacing old windows) and now that heating season is upon us, the difference is astonishing. The house is tight as a drum and so easy to keep warm. Worth every penny. Thank you all! Working with Evergreen was a positive experience from start (no charge energy audit) to finish (a MUCH more comfortable home). Brian Robinson spent a lot of time with me on the audit, explaining clearly what he was finding in my ca. 1946 house and what Evergreen could do to make it easier and cheaper to heat. Rick Stevenson and his crew – including the subcontracted plumber and electrician – were consummate professionals. Communication was excellent, the work was done on time and on budget, the house was left clean and tidy at the end of every day, and best of all, with the project taking place in January, we were able to immediately enjoy the improvements. Highly recommend.
