What to Expect from Your Free Consult
Your free one-hour consult is the first step toward a home that’s more comfortable, healthy, and efficient. Whether you’re dealing with cold floors, high energy bills, or musty basement air, this is your chance to talk with someone who knows how to fix it—and can explain your options in plain English.

Here’s what happens during your visit:
1. We Listen
You’ll walk through your concerns about your home with a trained Evergreen Energy Advisor. How does your home feel in winter? Do you have standing water in your basement after it rains? Are you underwhelmed by your recently installed mini splits?
This is your space to share what’s working about your home—and what’s not.
2. We Take a Look Around
Next, you’ll take us on a guided tour of your home—from the basement to the attic. Every Maine home is different, and understanding how yours was built, as well as its current condition, helps us offer the right solutions for your house, your budget, and your goals.
3. We Share Our Findings and Talk Through Next Steps
By the end of the hour, you’ll have a clearer understanding of how your home works—and if our services can help solve your problems.
We’ll walk you through:
- Where your home is losing energy
- How Evergreen can help
- What your project might cost
- What rebates, tax credits, and financing you may qualify for (we’re the leading insulation contractor for Efficiency Maine rebates, and you can qualify for up to $8,000 in savings!)
If you’re ready to move forward, we’ll move right into the next step: a full energy audit and detailed project proposal of what services you could benefit from, from insulation and air sealing to basement waterproofing.

Just Bought a Home? Now Is the Perfect Time for a Home Consult
If you’ve just purchased a home, congrats! To start your home ownership off on the right foot, reach out to our team once you’ve closed. All homes can usually benefit from the services we offer, and we’ll identify any current issues and outline energy-saving improvements for the future.
