Our incredible team of twenty-two took time away from wet basements, hot attics, audit reports, phone calls, bookkeeping, and strategic planning to spend a morning together.

Some of us have known each other for years; some joined the team just last month. We’ve celebrated births and mourned deaths, shared holiday feasts and grabbed lunches on the job. It’s not unusual to describe a company as a family, but this one goes above and beyond.

We’re thankful to all the Maine homeowners who have invited us in to their families, whether for an hour-long Energy Consult or for a comprehensive energy upgrade. It’s an honor to sit at your kitchen tables discussing fuel costs and home comfort, and it’s an honor to do air sealing and insulation in your basements and attics. Their work took a total of nine days, spread over three weeks. The on-sight manager kept us informed of their daily schedule so we'd know which parts of the house they'd be working on.
