An Evergreen Home Performance Remodeling Carpenter provides excellent customer services and uses their construction experience to optimize our energy efficiency upgrades. Safe and tidy work habits, attention to detail, and commitment to best practices are paramount.

What They Do

  • Remove and restore siding and roofing for insulation installation; build out rafter slopes
  • Install basement windows, construct attic hatches and basement bulkhead "plugs" 
  • Install rafter and soffit vents, ventilation fans, ductwork, wall vents
  • Weatherize – airsealing & insulation
  • Control basement moisture with vapor barriers and other membranes 
  • Install, patch, and finish drywall and plaster
  • Repair/replace/paint interior and exterior trim & surfaces
  • General framing and sheetrock

What It Takes

  • 5 years construction/remodeling experience
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, & cramped environments, climb ladders, wear respirator, lift and carry 35 lb., occasionally 50 lb.
  • Class C Driver’s License

Compensation and Benefits  

  • Compensation commensurate with experience ($18-21)
