Multifamily Efficiency Program

Evergreen Home Performance is a proud Program Partner of Efficiency Maine’s new Multifamily Efficiency Program, which helps owners of 5-20 unit buildings reduce operating costs with the help of energy efficiency incentives of $1400/unit. 

Our multifamily energy audits start at $200/unit, which will be reimbursed by program incentives.  This price is offered to clients who hire Evergreen to provide the energy audit, program management, and general contracting during the improvement phase. 

For clients who prefer to have a bidding process to select a general contractor, or to act as their own general contractor, our energy audits start at $400/unit, half of which will be reimbursed by program incentives.  Evergreen will also asses a technical management fee of 10% of the project improvement costs.

Some buildings offer challenges to the audit process.  Evergreen will inform clients if a building's complexities may require outside engineering services that make it ineligible for our standard pricing. 

MEP helps owners of 5-20 unit buildings understand their energy consumption, identify opportunities for improvement, and achieve at least 20% reductions in overall energy use through comprehensive efficiency upgrades.  As an Efficiency Maine Program Partner, Evergreen integrates rigorous energy assessment - including energy modeling, blower door testing, and infrared thermography - with investment-grade building improvements.
